11 mile barefoot run – 34 degrees

Sunday morning left the house at 6:30am for a run.   There was a wind chill, and I will say my feet got cold right away and were super senstive to the rougher streets of the route.  Amazing how some runs at this weather give me no problems, but at times they are a little tougher.   I was tired as well,  I notice when I am tired my body seems to weaken as well, so the mental toughness is a bit diminished.

It’s about that time where I will have to start breaking out the Vibrams.   I will incoroprate a mixture of barefoot runs with the vibrams.

Olivia's first go at soccer. When you work right next door to a Crossfit gym, what else to do on break? Happy Easter! Spring running, goodbye winter gear. Just me and my girl. 7.1 mile barefoot run. Time: 103. Pace: 8.57. A little fishing with the boys. Can't stay inside forever on this cold, rainy spring day.
#runbarefootintherain Heading home during my run and I see this guy standing in the middle of the road with a tripod and camera. This was about as random as you can get. Having fun on my nephews drum kit.
