8 mile run in my new Vibram Sprints.

Unfortunally looks like my barefoot running days are done for now, or at least going to be very scarce.  I hope to throw in some barefoot shorter runs during the week, just to keep some kind of conditioning going.  

My early morning run started at 5:30am, 18 degress out,  I did not wear socks with my Vibrams, unfortunately or fortunately I have no room to wears socks with my sprints.  I personally don’t like socks with Vibrams.   It was a great run, average pace 8:33,  by the time i hit mile 8 I did feel some slight coldness to my toes, but nothing major.   It’s very early to be seeing the temps in the teens, it might be a wicked winter.

  1. Yeah, it’s shoes for me until spring, too. The temperatures have plummeted recently.

Time: 103. Pace: 8.57. A little fishing with the boys. Can't stay inside forever on this cold, rainy spring day.
#runbarefootintherain Heading home during my run and I see this guy standing in the middle of the road with a tripod and camera. This was about as random as you can get. Having fun on my nephews drum kit.
