I love wind.

Something really thrilling about a windy day, it always gets my juices flowing and excites me.   It’s like God shaking things up a bit,  I find a very windy day spiritual for some reason, it makes me reflect on God and see how wonderful his grace is.

Anyways woke up at 5:15am for my morning run, got all geared up, I think it was like 24 degrees out with about 25-30 mph wind.  I stood outside for about 5 minutes waiting for my garmin to find a satellite but it didn’t happen.  (I am a new garmin user and found out that on cloudy or windy day it’s hard to get a satellite reading)  No biggie,  it’s nice to just get out there and run without any gadgets, it’s more free.   What an awesome run it was, I had some hill workouts and battling the wind equals a pretty strong workout.

Olivia's first go at soccer. When you work right next door to a Crossfit gym, what else to do on break? Happy Easter! Spring running, goodbye winter gear. Just me and my girl. 7.1 mile barefoot run. Time: 103. Pace: 8.57. A little fishing with the boys. Can't stay inside forever on this cold, rainy spring day.
#runbarefootintherain Heading home during my run and I see this guy standing in the middle of the road with a tripod and camera. This was about as random as you can get. Having fun on my nephews drum kit.
