Jan. 10th is the week when I start marathon training, 16 weeks until marathon. I am not going to be so glued to a training schedule like I did for my first one. I have to admit my motivation to train is a bit lacking right now. I got alot going on right now with my personal life, I just got a promotion at my job, I am so much more busier, which I do like. School starts in two weeks, and of course family time which is very important. I was close to bagging the marathon but decided to just suck it up and get my ass in gear.
Last night we had about 15″ of snow dumped on us. I don’t have a gym membership so no access to a treadmill anymore, so I have to accept what mother nature gives me. Honestly I would rather be outside anyways, I hate dreadmills! Hate is a strong word but that is how I feel about them, they just suck all the joy of running out of me.
