A little bit of barefoot trail running.

After work I parked at the local marina, changed in the car, and ran 6 miles along the beach, I was on the road, but the scenery is beautiful on this route.  I love the ocean, even though I live near the sound.  As I was coming back to the car I decided to hit these trails that is the marsh area of the marina.  It was maybe just a 1/2 mile, but it was awesome.  The trails were muddy, some with snow, but overall I had a huge smile on my face.   I can fall in love with barefoot trail running.    My feet are a bit sore today just from that trail run, but I love when my feet are beat up a bit,  it means that got a different workout and put to the test.  It’s like going to the gym and being sore the next day, you feel a sense of gratification, at least I do.

My sweetie is proud of her snowman she made, or I should say Sammy as the name she gave him. Family skate day. My mom at a young 70 lacing up the skates! My favorite girl.
#mysweetie So intense. Power and strength to the max. Who says dinosaurs don’t exist. Sunday morning 3 mile barefoot run. Blowing the dust off the skins. I like to incorporate deadlifts with my back workout. This was my last set of 240lbs for 6 reps. Seeking that 300lb mark down the road.

It’s starting to warmup in the garage, 25 degrees this morning. “I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” MLK 🔥
