Stomach virus knocked me down.

Just like the movie “Outbreak” there has literally been a stomach virus invading Connecticut, and it’s nasty.   Both of my sons were sick last week, and my wife was ill as well.   Late sunday night, after my 20 mile barefoot run, I was starting to feel something take over me, and it did.    I actually ran 5 miles on Wednesday feeling weak and tired, and it was snowing!   Probably wasn’t a good idea.   I basically have been feeling ill with diarrhea since sunday night, and thursday night is when this virus peaked and beat my ass to the ground.   Constant diarrhea every 10 minutes for about 20 hours straight, at least I wasn’t throwing up, which is supposed to happen as well with this virus.   Today feel MUCH better, but tired and worn out.

Looking to run tomorrow and get back to training, if you call it training.

My sweetie is proud of her snowman she made, or I should say Sammy as the name she gave him. Family skate day. My mom at a young 70 lacing up the skates! My favorite girl.
#mysweetie So intense. Power and strength to the max. Who says dinosaurs don’t exist. Sunday morning 3 mile barefoot run. Blowing the dust off the skins. I like to incorporate deadlifts with my back workout. This was my last set of 240lbs for 6 reps. Seeking that 300lb mark down the road.

It’s starting to warmup in the garage, 25 degrees this morning. “I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” MLK 🔥
