Almost 3 weeks and my foot is still not 100%, but almost there. Ran 5 barefoot miles this morning, foot is still tender. I will probably get one more run in this week, and chill out until Sunday comes, I am running a half marathon. I love this race, it’s in my hometown, the crowd participation is awesome, and it starts and ends at the beach. I think I am going to just ride my bike there this time, which will be a nice warm up. A record 4500 runners will be running this year.
As far as the race, i did almost little to no training, I did run a 10 miler two weeks ago, that was the longest I ran since the marathon in May. I ran my yearly marathon, so now it’s just time to chill out, run free, and enjoy the summer.
