Hurricane Irene

It was an interesting week,  there was an earth quake in Virginia, which was felt all the way to Connecticut  and survived Hurricane Irene within a two weeks span.  We didn’t experience any house damage or major trees fallen, but we did lose electricity for 3 days.   As a family everyone handled it very well.   No TV, or internet access for 3 days was a nice treat actually.

I took a 5 mile barefoot run the day after the hurricane and it was a technical run with all the debris on the street, it was great stimulation for the feet.
