January 3rd – 15 degrees

Start time: 7:30

Temp: 15 degrees with a wind chill of 3 degrees

Run time: 42:03

Started run with Vibram Komodosport’s after 18 minutes took them off and ran barefoot for 14 minutes.  Toes didn’t go numb and no discomfort, but my right heel was going numb.  Put footwear back on, that was enough for now.  First run in the teens of the year, don’t  want to push it.   Upper body could have been a bit warmer, I wore an underarmour mock long sleeve shirt, then a running fleece, I could have used another thin base layer.

Olivia's first go at soccer. When you work right next door to a Crossfit gym, what else to do on break? Happy Easter! Spring running, goodbye winter gear. Just me and my girl. 7.1 mile barefoot run. Time: 103. Pace: 8.57. A little fishing with the boys. Can't stay inside forever on this cold, rainy spring day.
#runbarefootintherain Heading home during my run and I see this guy standing in the middle of the road with a tripod and camera. This was about as random as you can get. Having fun on my nephews drum kit.
