6 mile Tempo Run.

I’m not one to get all fancy with marathon training.  I don’t do track workouts, speed workouts, Yasso’s, or anything workouts you read in marathon training book.   I like to keep things simple, but I do like Tempo Runs, and hill workouts, that’s the extent of my “quality workout runs”

This morning I had a solid tempo run, probably the best “running workout” I ever did, so far.

6 mile tempo run – Average Pace – 7:58

Mile 1 – warm up – 8:30 pace

Mile 2 – 7:55 pace

Mile 3 – 7:51 pace

Mile 4 – 7:39 pace

Mile 5 – 7:34 pace

Mile 6 – Cool down
